I have written about the bike trails in the Citrus County area before. This blog I am focusing on the Withlacoochee Trail: “Rails to Trails.” First, I have to convince you that bike riding on the trail is fun. If you are uncomfortable with a regular bike…try a trike or a recumbent bike. There is no learning curve for the trike you just get on it and the three wheels and comfy seat make it easy to ride. As many of you know, Husband Art and I are now recumbent bike riders. I cannot tell you how much more comfortable the bike seat is on your bottom and handlebar setup is on your arms. Biking is great exercise and a wonderful way to see a variety of natural settings found in Citrus County. By the way, many of the bike trails are suitable for walks and hikes.
